Arch Town Labs publishes research, rankings and innovation news. This page describes who we are, how we work, who funds us, and how to reach the editorial team.
About the publication
Arch Town (archtown.org) is the editorial and research arm of Arch Town Labs - a non-profit innovation research facility. We publish the World Innovation Ranking (iRank), original research reports, and news covering startups, venture capital, deep tech and the broader innovation economy.
Editorial standards
We report facts, attribute sources, and separate news from opinion. Analytical pieces are labelled as such. We verify claims against primary sources where possible and link out to them. Sponsored or partner content, when present, is clearly marked and never influences our rankings.
Independence
Our innovation methodology (iRank) is governed by a Methodology Council that operates independently from commercial and advisory relationships. A structural firewall keeps donors, sponsors and advisory clients from influencing editorial coverage or ranking outcomes. Trustee and Council roles cannot overlap.
Corrections
We correct errors promptly. If you spot a factual mistake, email us at labs@archtown.org and we will review and update the article, noting material corrections where appropriate.
Ownership & funding
Arch Town Labs is operated by the community interest company Arch Town Labs. As a non-profit, surplus is reinvested into research. Funding comes from residency dues, sponsorships and advisory work; none of these confer editorial or methodology control.
