- Waymo has been operating inside the city for almost 5 years now
- Approval for commercial service received in the spring of 2024
- Waymo removed the waitlist for San Francisco in July
- The company recently raised a new $5.6 billion investment
- Investors include Alphabet, Fidelity, Tiger Global, Silver Lake, and others
- That said, Waymo's total valuation is already $45+ billion
