Threshold Care has introduced innovative sockets that can track movement in rooms without the use of cameras. The new technology is called Motion. The devices create a monitoring zone in the apartment, capturing the movements of people and pets. When someone moves, it causes interference in the Wi-Fi signal, which allows the outlet to notify the owner of the presence of a person in the room. The development aims to help low-mobility people by providing security without the discomfort associated with video surveillance. In the app, users can view two weeks of movement history and receive real-time data. However, it is not possible to unplug through the app - it must be done manually. The bundle includes 3 devices and is priced at $60. Motion do not require special installation. It is enough to connect them to the existing ones and use them as regular outlets. They have inputs for plugs.
