Physical Intelligence has received a $400 million investment from Jeff Bezos and OpenAI

- A new round of investment for the startup was led by Jeff Bezos
- Thrive Capital and Lux Capital also provided investments
- Other investors included OpenAI, Redpoint Ventures and Bond
- Physical Intelligence's valuation for the round was around $2 billion
- The startup wants to create basic software for any kind of robot
- That is, it wants to create a universal “brain” for any robot
- Creating such a model requires a huge amount of data
- There are practically no ready-made sets of such data
- I.e. the startup has to collect all the data only by itself
- The startup was founded by engineers from Google and Stripe
- Also among the founders is a professor at UC Berkeley
