Former Apple Chief Design Officer Jony Ive has teamed up with LoveFrom and the Moncler brand to announce a new transformer jacket. The base of the model is a vest. Each element of the Transformer Jacket is made from a single piece of recycled nylon, which is skillfully folded to form a seamless kimono-like design. This method required the use of a specialized loom commonly used for bedding. At its core is a vest. To it, by means of a magnetic system, 3 additional elements are attached: a poncho, a field jacket and a parka. This system is similar to the magnetic MagSafe used in the iPhone. Sales and shipments are scheduled to start on September 24. Details about the price and the availability of additional layers in the kit have not yet been revealed.
