Boston Dynamics robops have been hired at the Jaguar Land Rover factory
The Jaguar Land Rover factory in Coventry, England, has hired a Boston Dynamics robot to guard the territory and check the equipment.
The robot is able to work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, interrupted only for recharging batteries at a special docking station. The robot's memory is stored in the entire scheme of the enterprise, where it will make hourly rounds of the territory - and not only for guarding, but also for monitoring the condition of various mechanisms and equipment, which should help to avoid breakdowns.
As emphasized in Jaguar Land Rover, the machine is not distracted by anything, as well as easily overcomes various obstacles, including stairs. The specialists even built an improvised doghouse for the charging station of Robops.
It is expected that the involvement of this and other robots in the work will free the staff from routine tasks and entrust them with more serious matters.

Miniature robot with six 3D-printed legs rolled the ball into the goal
American engineers have developed a miniature six-legged Picotaur robot weighing 15 milligrams. Each of its six legs is a separate mechanism with two degrees of freedom, driven by two electrostatic actuators. This allows Picotaur to walk in a variety of gaits, reaching a maximum speed of 7.2 body lengths per second, jump, change direction, move small loads and climb stairs. A paper describing the

Adam: The First High-Biomimetic Humanoid Robot-Hardware Architecture Design
PNDbotics team aims to push the boundaries of robotics in all aspects: from highly modular actuator hardware to the original design of the physical structure of the robot, from advanced motion control algorithms to the creation of humanoid robot platforms.
In June 2023, the company developed Adam's overall hardware architecture, proposing for the first time the use of a biomimetic humanoid pelvis
