Self-driving truck startup Aurora Innovation is a company focused on developing autonomous vehicle technology, particularly for trucks. Founded by industry veterans, Aurora aims to revolutionize the transportation sector by making it safer, more efficient, and more sustainable through the use of self-driving technology.
Aurora has now sold up to $420 million in Class A common stock to investment banks Goldman Sachs, Allen & Co., and Morgan Stanley. The company went public through a special purpose acquisition in 2021 and its stock hit a high of $13.12 on its first day of trading.
