Apple will sell premium Apple Intelligence features for $20
Analyst and Counterpoint Research partner Neil Shah said that Apple has invested a lot in its own AI, but all the costs will be recouped by ordinary users. The expert claims that in the future Cupertinovs will certainly sell individual functions of Apple Intelligence for $10-20 as part of the Apple One subscription. Ben Wood, head of research at CCS Insight, is of the same opinion. He believes that the company will not miss the opportunity to monetize such a costly project.
It is still unclear how exactly Apple will do: will give everyone free features and ask for premium add-ons, like OpenAI, or will offer full access, but only for a certain period of time. If rumors are to be believed, Google is going to take the second path.
According to Android Headlines, the tech giant will give all buyers of the Google Pixel 9, 9 Pro and 9 Pro Fold a full year of the Google One AI Premium plan with the company's most powerful AI - Gemini Advanced. On top of that, all customers will get six months of Fitbit Premium and three months of YouTube Premium. The first offer will be valid until October 31, 2025, and the second until December 31 of the same year.
