Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed International Airport Named the Most Beautiful in the World
Sheikh Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi has been named the most beautiful airport in the world by the prestigious Prix Versailles award, which recognizes outstanding achievements in architecture and design across various categories, including museums, stadiums, and airports.
The airport recently unveiled its ultra-modern Terminal A, which spans 742,000 square meters, can accommodate up to 11,000 passengers per hour, and serves 45 million passengers annually.
The terminal's X-shaped architecture is inspired by the natural beauty of Abu Dhabi’s landscapes, combining functionality with a striking aesthetic that sets it apart as a landmark in global airport design
