Xpeng’s Flying Car Completes First Public Flight, Secures 2000 Pre-Orders
Xpeng has made history with the first public flight of its modular flying car, the Land Aircraft Carrier, in China. Following the demonstration, the company received an impressive 2000 pre-orders, setting a new industry record.
The Land Aircraft Carrier consists of two parts: a 5.5-meter electric car and a flying module. The car itself has a 1000 km range and features a spacious interior with seating for two and a large trunk to store the flying module. The module, which resembles a large drone with a cockpit for two passengers, can be deployed from the trunk with the push of a button, taking just 5 minutes to activate.
The flying module can complete 5–6 flights on a full charge, and the electric car can recharge it from 30% to 80% in just 18 minutes. The autonomous flight, demonstrated during the presentation, includes both automatic and manual control options, with just three hours of training needed for operation.
Priced at $280,000, the Land Aircraft Carrier will enter mass production in 2026, with a planned output of 10,000 units annually.
A major step towards the future of personal transportation!

US engineers have created a robot to assemble furniture by voice commands
Researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have developed an innovative robot capable of assembling furniture from reusable building blocks - voxels. It can be controlled by voice commands.
The machine generates a 3D model of the object using artificial intelligence trained on images from the Internet. This model is then translated into coordinates for placing voxels. These
