World's Largest Electric Aircraft Set for First Flight in 2025
Heart Aerospace, a Swedish startup, has announced that its Heart X1 electric aircraft will take its first flight in the second quarter of 2025. Currently, this is the world’s largest electric aircraft, designed to carry 30 passengers on short regional routes.
With a wingspan of 32 meters, Heart X1 is a prototype for the ES-30, a commercial electric aircraft expected to enter production by 2028. The ES-30 will be capable of flying up to 200 km on a single charge, with hybrid engines extending its range to 400 km.
Heart X1 is currently undergoing ground testing to assess its charging systems, maneuvering, and control mechanisms. This cutting-edge technology marks a significant step toward more sustainable air travel
