SpaceX has been awarded a $733.6 million launch contract for the U.S. Space Force
This contract includes seven launches for the Space Development Agency (SDA) and one set of missions for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).
The launches for SDA will include a transportation layer that will provide reliable, fault-tolerant, low-latency data transmission and worldwide communications for a full range of military platforms. SpaceX has already launched several missions for SDA's counterpart, the monitoring layer, which is designed to observe and detect potential missile threats.
Both new missions were awarded under an “indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity” contract that the Space Force signed with SpaceX as well as Blue Origin and United Launch Alliance in June of this year.

The system allows operators to control a robot collecting lunar regolith samples using a virtual simulation that then sends commands to a physical robot.
This allows operators to control the robot without having direct access to the lunar s
