DingTalk, Alibaba's platform for corporate communications and collaboration, has unveiled its first AI-powered smart device, the DingTalk A1.

The compact gadget is designed as a thin card and works with the AI Note system to convert conversations into text notes, summaries, and analytical reports. The device can not only record and transcribe conversations, but also translate them and generate structured data that can be immediately integrated into the DingTalk app.

The new product supports more than 30 use cases, from interviews and meetings to training sessions and consultations. The device is only 3.8 mm thick and weighs 40 g. It attaches to a smartphone with a magnet and can operate for up to 45 hours in active mode and up to 60 days in standby mode. The built-in 64 GB memory and latest-generation chip ensure stable operation.

The flagship A1 version features an aluminum body, display, and a system of six microphones, including a bone conduction microphone, which allows it to recognize voices from up to 8 meters away and filter out more than 500 types of background noise. The device protects data with multi-level encryption and supports corporate management options. Additional features include simultaneous translation and text display on the screen
