China has created electric bicycles for tall riders
Hong Kong-based company DirtySixer has launched new electric bicycle models with large frames and wheels specifically designed for riders from 1.78-2.25 meters tall. The 32er and 36er models are equipped with powerful Bosch motors providing up to 85 Nm of torque and pedaling support up to 32 km/h.
The DirtySixer electric bikes are equipped with new off-road tires from VeeTire and are designed for different types of terrain. The 36er is great for gravel roads and challenging terrain, while the 32er performs best on narrow trails.
The bikes are built on a 6061 aluminum frame with a rigid chrome-moly fork and oversized handlebars. They are equipped with a Velo gel saddle, Samox connecting rods and branded pedals. The models have a 10-speed Shimano CUES gearbox and Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with 203mm rotors for reliable braking. Optional rear rack and compatible bags are available for easy transportation.
Their retail price is $8,999. Deliveries are expected to start in February next year.
