Changan and Huawei launch China's largest digital factory

Changan Concern, together with Huawei, announced the launch of a new innovative car factory in Chongqing. It has become the largest “digital intelligent factory” in the country.
The plant covers an area of 410,000 square meters and is equipped with 1,400 robots, 650 autonomous vehicles (AGVs) and more than 200 automated workstations. According to the company, the factory uses flexible production methods, allowing each customer to personalize their vehicle. Consumers can choose their own parameters - from model and color to configuration and additional options. This allows for simultaneous production of cars of different brands and models on one production line.
Huawei has developed an architecture that provides real-time management of all production stages through a single computer. 5G technology at the factory is provided by China Unicom, a telecommunications company. Thanks to the introduction of artificial intelligence, the factory is capable of self-learning, which allows automating decision-making processes.
Assembly of the Avatr 07 crossover has already started at the new production complex. The production of Deepal S05 and Changan Qiyuan E07 models has also been set up on the line
