Cambridge Audio has announced the launch of the Evo One music speaker, which promises to be a worthy alternative to traditional hi-fi systems. The 700W unit is capable of playing music through 14 speakers. The unit features a 700-watt Class D amplifier that delivers 50 watts of power through 4 1-inch tweeters, 4 2.24-inch midrange drivers and 6 2.75-inch woofers. The drivers are positioned at the front, sides and rear for optimal sound dispersion. Output audio is processed using “advanced digital signal processing” to provide “breathtaking clarity and deep controlled bass”. There are 9 control buttons on the front panel, and the StreamMagic mobile app includes a 7-band EQ to personalize the sound. The Evo One also features HDMI eARC for TV connectivity, a phono stage for vinyl records, and multiple analog inputs. The system supports popular streaming platforms Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Deezer and other services. The Evo One also allows you to download music via Bluetooth 5.1, AirPlay 2 and Google Cast. The Evo One is available for purchase at a price of $1,499
