An international mission to simulate life and work on the Red Planet has begun in the Ararat region: scientists from 26 countries have chosen this area as being as similar to the terrain of Mars as possible.
Six “astronauts” until April 5 will live in isolation, leaving the shelter only in spacesuits, and for radio communication with them created a delay of 10 minutes – the same as from Mars to Earth.
