Near Georgetown, Texas, Icon has 3D-printed Vulcan, a residential neighborhood of 100 homes. The final buildings are now being completed. Compared to traditional methods, 3D printing can speed up the construction process, reduce costs and minimize waste of building materials. A mixture of concrete powder, water and sand is loaded into the printer, after which the concrete is applied layer by laye
