Virgin Galactic has described the future of their space planes
An American company, part of the Virgin Group,that plans to organize suborbital tourist space flights and small satellite launches. In the future, it also plans to offer orbital flights to its customers.
During a recent presentation, Doug Ahrens, Chief Financial Officer of the company, said that in the first few years after the commercial operation of the two new Delta-class space planes, Virgin Galactic could perform up to 125 flights per year.
When the number of these planes grows to four, the company will be able to carry out 275 annual flights, generating revenue of $990 million.
