Two OpenAI partners at once expect to get valuations of more than $2 billion
- OpenAI's rapid growth also helps vendors and partners
- Anysphere is looking to raise investment at a $2.5 billion valuation
- It is developing a Cursor assistant based on OpenAI technologies
- That valuation is six times higher than it was 4 months ago
- ARR has grown to $50M/year ($20M a month ago)
- That means Anysphere gets about $4M/month from its subscriptions
- OpenAI is already an investor in it (also Thrive Capital fund)
- Also the $2 billion valuation is already being discussed by staffing agency Mercor
- It helps OpenAI and other AI startups to find contractors
- The startup is discussing raising at least $100 million in investments
- That is, Mercor's valuation could increase 8 times in six months
- The startup's ARR at the end of the year could reach $50 mln
