Toyota's CUE robot set a Guinness World Record for the longest basketball shot by a robot
Toyota's humanoid robot, CUE, has earned its second Guinness World Records title for the longest successful basketball shot by a robot.
CUE, initially a LEGO prototype created by Toyota volunteers in 2017, has evolved significantly thanks to Al. The sixth-generation CUE can catch, position, shoot from nearly 25 meters, and even dribble-all while learning from its mistakes in real-time.
The record-breaking shot, measuring an impressive 24.7 meters, took place in Nagakute, Japan
