The world’s longest tram is about to be launched in the German city of Mannheim
The 60-meter-long train was designed by Czech Skoda and can accelerate up to 80 km/h. It has 6 sections and 144 seats, and the total capacity including standing seats is 368 people.
Previously, the longest streetcar was the Spanish CAF Urbos (9 sections with a total length of 55.9 meters), which runs in Budapest.
