The second patient with the Neuralink chip played Counter-Strike
Neuralink has reported that the second patient implanted with a neurocomputer interface chip has learned to play Counter-Strike 2 and design 3D objects in a computer-aided design system. The implantation was performed at Barrow Neurological Institute, from where the patient named Alex was discharged the next day. Alex is paralyzed in most of his body after suffering a spinal cord injury.
It took Alex less than five minutes to learn how to control a cursor on a computer using the chip. In addition, the company said, doctors were able to more securely install the chip in Alex's brain to avoid the excessive mobility that was seen in the first patient to receive the Neuralink chip
