SOL announced the launch of its new product, the Sol Reader VR e-book. It combines the functions of VR glasses and traditional e-readers.
The glasses are equipped with screens based on electronic ink. This allows you to read books with maximum comfort and for your eyes and economical use of battery power. The hybrid boasts backlighting with customizable color temperature. The displays will be protected from direct sunlight, making it possible to effectively use LEDs even at low power.
The battery life of the device is about 25 hours. The hybrid also has a fast charging function. The Sol Reader comes with a remote control that connects to the device via Bluetooth and allows you to turn pages and adjust the brightness. Books can be downloaded via smartphone in ePUB format.
