Saudi Arabia’s capital wants to build a two-kilometer skyscraper

The project will be handled by the British Foster + Partners, who created the round Apple Park in California.

If the project in Riyadh is realized, the building will leave far behind the current record holder – the 828-meter Burj Khalifa in Dubai – as well as the Jeddah Tower under construction in Jeddah with a height of a kilometer.

When construction will begin and be completed, they don’t say. The expected cost of the skyscraper is $5 billion.
