US startup Radia will build the world’s largest cargo plane

It will deliver 90-meter-long wind turbine blades that cannot be transported overland.

The WindRunner will be 110 meters long: dozens of meters longer than any other aircraft. Cargo capacity is only 80 tons: the main thing in it – the place for the blades.

The project is headed by a scientist and rocket specialist from MIT. If everything goes according to plan, the airplane will be ready by the end of 2027
