PUDU D9 robot showed its cleaning skills with a manual vacuum cleaner
PUDU Robotics has unveiled its first full-sized humanoid, PUDU D9. The new robot is 170 cm tall, weighs 65 kg and has a walking speed of up to 2 m/s.
PUDU D9 was developed by the company's research division. It became the first full-fledged humanoid in their lineup. The robot can walk on 2 legs and has 42 degrees of freedom. Its electric actuators provide up to 352 nm of torque, and its arms with 7 degrees of freedom are capable of lifting weights of over 20 kg.
In the demonstration video, the D9 successfully completes a cleaning task by controlling a manual scrubber from PUDU. This emphasizes its potential application in the service industry, where it can perform cleaning and maintenance related functions
