Prada spacesuits will protect astronauts on the moon
AxEMU Spacesuit is the result of a collaboration between Axiom and Prada. From the fashion house, the suit's developers received competencies in working with complex materials and sewing.
The spacesuit can protect a person from extreme lunar temperatures for two hours and during spacewalks for eight hours. Inside - compression garments, life support system and everything you need to travel comfortably in a spacesuit. Among curious things: the spacesuit has an HD video camera, as well as LTE communication modules. And plus it looks stylish: Prada after all.
We will see these suits on real astronauts earlier than September 2026 during the lunar mission Artemis III
