JackRabbit has announced an updated version of its microbike called the OG2. It combines the features of an electric bicycle and a scooter.
It doesn't require pedal twisting to get around - a single press on the gas pedal is all it takes. OG2 has a 300W rear motor that provides speeds up to 32km/h. The model has 3 power modes, including indoor use. The 151.2Wh removable battery provides a range of over 16km, and the new digital display shows all relevant information and automatically turns off to save charge.
The OG2 features a reinforced 6061 aluminum alloy frame and a new patented handlebar stem that makes folding much easier. The microbike can be conveniently transported as carry-on luggage on airplanes. The footrests are made of forged aluminum for increased comfort. Its weight is 11.3 kg.
The bike is also equipped with 20-inch wheels with all-terrain tires - 1.95 inches in the front and 2.5 inches in the rear. Braking is provided by a mechanical disc brake on the rear wheel.
The JackRabbit OG2 is available for purchase now for $1,249.99
