Maserati electric scooters with Apple Find My technology unveiled
At IFA 2024 in Berlin, Maserati unveiled its new electric scooters developed in collaboration with LEXGO. The Armonia and Lampo models promise to combine style, speed and the latest technology.
The electric scooters are equipped with premium features including Apple Find My technology. It allows users to easily find their scooters in crowded parking lots. Simply open the Find My app on the iPhone to pinpoint the exact location of their vehicle. Scooters can also be locked with a virtual passcode for added security.
The Armonia is designed for everyday commuting. It has a magnesium alloy frame, a maximum speed of 25 km/h and a range of about 60 km on a single charge. Lampo is able to reach up to 60 km/h thanks to 2 1,000W motors. The dual suspension provides a comfortable ride on uneven city streets. Both electric scooters have a folding design.
In addition to the electric scooters, the companies introduced the Smartee-1 smart helmet. It has built-in LED lights that synchronize with the scooter. The rear one automatically turns on when braking, and the turn signals are activated when the turn is activated. Smartee-1 also has headlights for improved visibility while driving and is IPx5 waterproof.
The cost of electric scooters and helmet have not yet been announced, as well as the timing of the release of devices on the world market.
