Japan is preparing to unveil human washing machine with AI
Osaka-based Science Co is finalising a human washing machine of the future. It is called Mirai Ningen Sentakuki and is designed for 1 user.
The device resembles the cockpit of a jet fighter with a transparent lid. When in use, it is filled with hot water and inbuilt sensors measure the user's heart rate and other biological data to ensure a comfortable temperature. An artificial intelligence system analyses the person's emotional state and projects soothing images on the inside of the lid.
Yasuaki Aoyama, chairman of the company, said that about 70 per cent of the work on the project has been completed. The authors of the project plan to officially present the development at the Osaka Kansai Expo, which will be held on 25 April 2025. Visitors will be able to personally test Mirai Ningen Sentakuki. A version for home use will also be available soon
