Innovative house with movable walls combines openness and privacy
The new house created by Robert Konieczny KWK Promes is a combination of open space and privacy. It has the option of opening up to the environment or closing down in case the owners need privacy.
It was inspired by the concept of a social event area. Long curved walls on wheels can move at the owner's command, closing or opening the space.
The house is designed for a family of 2 people and has a floor area of 250 square meters, including the garage. Inside it has 2 bedrooms, a spacious living room, a mezzanine area and a kitchen. The bathrooms have an open floor plan and an abundance of glass surfaces.
The exterior follows the local architectural style with whitewashed walls and a traditional thatched roof. The entire house, including the movable wall mechanism, is solar powered, ensuring energy independence.
This innovative home is scheduled to be completed by 2025.
