Ikea has introduced a smart socket with a power meter
The new product is available on the official Ikea website under the name Recording. It is equipped with a built-in energy meter. It can be controlled via the Ikea Home smart app and remote control.
Recording connects to the Ikea Dirigera hub using Zigbee technology. According to the company, with the help of this smart socket it is possible to turn on and off household appliances from a distance, as well as to control electricity consumption.
