The Chinese from iFlytek are launching a hearing aid with artificial intelligence on the domestic market. Neurons are used for two things: to automatically adjust the volume gain and to subtitle what you hear.
The hearing aid is equipped with one of the strongest sound amplification among similar devices – 65 dB. The AI adjusts the noise reduction modes itself depending on the context: it reduces wind noise, traffic and background conversations. In simpler models, you have to switch modes manually.
If a person is having a hard time listening, the device transcribes the interlocutor’s voice and displays it in subtitles on the phone screen. The conversion takes place in real time. In addition to the important functions, there are other little things: use as headphones and headset for talking on the phone.
The price of the hearing aid depends on the version: ~$370 with one earphone or ~$550 with two earphones
