The design for the new Neom stadium has emerged. It will be built as part of the development of the mirror city The Line in Saudi Arabia and will be used as one of the venues for the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
The unique stadium will be located at a height of more than 350 meters under a roof of mirror fragments. It will be powered by solar and wind energy. During the FIFA World Cup the complex will be able to accommodate up to 45,000 people. The creators of the project promise advanced technologies for participants and guests of the tournament, including electronic tickets and broadcasts in 4K Ultra HD. After the tournament, the stadium will become home to a professional soccer club and the center of sports life in The Line.
Its construction will begin in 2027, with completion scheduled for 2032
