Fourier Intelligence has presented the GR-2: a new version of its humanoid robot
Fourier Intelligence has announced its new GR-2 humanoid robot, which surpasses its predecessor GR-1 in every aspect. The robot is equipped with electric arms with 12 degrees of freedom and tactile sensors, allowing it to adapt to different objects.
Compared to the GR-1, which was introduced last July, the new model looks more complete and robust. It includes similar handrails but with more powerful motors. The GR-2 arms are electrically powered and can dynamically adjust the gripping force to adapt to different object shapes and materials. However, each arm can support a maximum load of 3 kg, which limits its use in warehouse environments.
The new robot is easily programmable using programs such as ROS, Mujoco and Isaac Lab, making it a handy tool for developers. Built-in artificial intelligence systems allow GR-2 to learn through hands-on experience and observation. The manipulators can be controlled both remotely through virtual reality and by demonstrating movements.

South Korea's Raptor robot sets new speed record
The Raptor robot has broken the speed record with an impressive 46 km/h. It was developed by the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
The bipedal Raptor uses a unique “tail” that acts as a counterweight to help keep its balance while running. This element is more like a pole to keep it upright. The weight of the steel “raptor” is 3 kg.
The main advantage of the Raptor is i
