Chinese have begun testing a wave-resistant solar power plant that can be placed far from coast
The structure consists of 434 panels and must withstand waves up to 10 meters high, and it stays in one place due to several anchors at once.
According to the idea, such platforms will float next to offshore wind turbines without taking up valuable land space. The tests will last a year, after which engineers will evaluate the efficiency and make improvements if necessary
