China for the first time presented a spacesuit for flights to the Moon

China's Manned Spaceflight Agency (CMSA) has demonstrated its first spacesuit designed for a lunar landing. The event was an important step towards the first manned mission planned before 2030.
The show presented the suit's appearance and its functionality. It is made of a special fabric capable of protecting against temperature variations and lunar dust. The helmet with panoramic visor and anti-reflective coating received 2 cameras with different focal lengths, and the multifunctional control panel is located on the chest.
The engineers also took into account the elements of Chinese culture: the spacesuit features distinctive red stripes, and the overall design is inspired by traditional Chinese armor. The suit's design is adapted to low gravity conditions, allowing the crew to move comfortably and perform tasks in space.
How the space outfit will work was demonstrated by 2 cosmonauts. Recall that China's first manned mission to the Moon is to take place before 2030 and involves a short-term visit, during which 2 crew members will spend about 6 hours on the surface of the Earth's satellite.
