British designers have created a table inspired by geometric transformations
DHaus Studio has created the innovative DTable Deco HACK table. It will be presented at Paris Design Week from September 5 to 14, 2024.
DHaus plans to present several prototypes of the new generation, including the Deco HACK. This unique piece of furniture, in addition to its sleek design, includes a built-in vinyl player and wireless charger, as well as a Bluetooth speaker, alarm clock and bottle opener.
The history of the table begins with the work of English mathematician Henry Ernest Dewdeny, who in 1903 developed a method for converting a square into an equilateral triangle. In 1986, architect David Ben-Grunberg and his artist father Mati Grunberg created the original DTable, which could take 8 different configurations and serve as both a storage solution and an interior centerpiece.
Details on the DTable Deco HACK going on sale are expected to be revealed after the show.

US tested an unmanned airship for Internet distribution
The 65-meter-long device can climb up to 19 kilometers and fly continuously for months, powered by solar panels. It is primarily designed to provide mobile communications to hard-to-reach places, but will also monitor changes in the climate.
If all goes according to plan, it will be put into commercial operation as early as next year
