British designers have created a table inspired by geometric transformations
DHaus Studio has created the innovative DTable Deco HACK table. It will be presented at Paris Design Week from September 5 to 14, 2024.
DHaus plans to present several prototypes of the new generation, including the Deco HACK. This unique piece of furniture, in addition to its sleek design, includes a built-in vinyl player and wireless charger, as well as a Bluetooth speaker, alarm clock and bottle opener.
The history of the table begins with the work of English mathematician Henry Ernest Dewdeny, who in 1903 developed a method for converting a square into an equilateral triangle. In 1986, architect David Ben-Grunberg and his artist father Mati Grunberg created the original DTable, which could take 8 different configurations and serve as both a storage solution and an interior centerpiece.
Details on the DTable Deco HACK going on sale are expected to be revealed after the show.
