Brick My World app is able to turn any object into LEGO sets
A team of enthusiasts announced the launch of the Brick My World app. It allows users to scan any objects with a smartphone and get their 3D models in the form of LEGO sets.
The utility is available on Android and iOS devices. It uses ARCore and ARKit technologies to create detailed assembly instructions and calculate the required number of bricks. According to the developers, to create a small model the size of a phone will require 500 to 1,000 bricks, and for larger projects - much more. They recommend buying parts in specialized stores to avoid the high costs of ready-made LEGO sets.
The official launch of the app is scheduled for 2025, but users will be able to test the product as early as February through the Kickstarter platform. Subscription to the app will cost $89 per year
