Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) and JBL have introduced new models of wireless headphones that can be connected to any device via a jack. B&W's Pi7 S2 and flagship Pi8 headphones, as well as JBL's Tour Pro 3, feature charging cases that function as Bluetooth audio adapters.
The B&W Pi7 S2 headphones offer active noise canceling, 21 hours of wireless operation, and high-quality sound thanks to 9.2mm drivers. They are priced at $259. In turn, the top-of-the-line Pi8 model includes all the same features as the Pi7 S2, as well as improved carbon fiber drivers. This model is priced at $399.
The JBL Tour Pro 3 also offers active noise cancellation and a unique touchscreen on the charging case that lets you control audio settings and get track and call information. They feature a smart charging case with a touchscreen that allows you to control all your audio and media settings. The case also acts as a repeater, allowing you to send audio to multiple other wireless headsets or earbuds.
Another feature of the Tour Pro 3 is JBL's AuraCast system. It will allow you to connect any number of wireless headphones to a single source to watch movies or share music. These features, along with adaptive noise cancellation and 44 hours of battery life, cost $299.95
