Australian startup has come up with an innovative cooling bathtub
Australian startup Clearwater Ice Baths has announced the release of a unique inflatable bathtub called Snowcap. It cools water without the need for ice or refrigerants.
The Snowcap is made of waterproof fabric and weighs between 8 and 10 kg, holding 300-320 liters of water. The 18 kg unit cover is equipped with a 20 micron filtration system and a thermoelectric cooler. It can reduce the water temperature from 25 degrees to 1.5 degrees in about 8 hours. Snowcap is also capable of producing ice and heating water to 40 degrees.
Users can control the temperature and schedule bath time through a special mobile app. According to the developers, Snowcap is designed to speed up recovery after workouts and is designed for 1 person.
The device is available on the Indiegogo platform at a price of $1,257
