Apple develops technology to unlock devices by heart rhythm
Apple has applied for a patent that involves using a user's unique heart rhythm to unlock their devices. The new patent is expected to turn the iPhone into a heart rate sensing device.
According to the description of the new patent, the iPhone will integrate sensors that can detect the user's heart activity. This would identify the owner of the device simply by holding it or wearing an Apple Watch.
The module will not only record the heart rate, but will also be able to determine the user's mood by analyzing ECG data. In some cases, the electronic device will also be able to determine the user's emotional state from the heart signals and provide the user with relevant information.
If the patent is realized, it will become the easiest way to unlock. And it will eliminate the need to enter a password manually.
