China's Dongfang Electric Corporation has brought a 26 megawatt (MW) offshore wind turbine to market, making it the world's largest in terms of capacity and size. The Chinese state-owned manufacturer released photos of the turbine's giant nacelle - the box-like enclosure at the top of the turbine that houses generating components - at its factory in Fuzhou, Fujian province in southeastern China.
