Alien neighborhood of Bolvoningen in the Netherlands
Unusual houses-spheres were built back in the 80s according to the design of local architect Dries Kreikamp, who won a competition for affordable social housing projects. One of their features is the modular construction, thanks to which everything can be quickly dismantled and moved to another place, assembled in a day (but in the end, no one did so).
The area of each of the 50 houses is 55 m², and inside is the same three-level layout with a small pantry, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen-living room. And yes, there are real people living in them

Chinese superfast train on magnetic cushion passed the test
China has completed demonstration tests of a new superfast transportation system - a magnetic cushion train (UHS). It is capable of reaching speeds of up to 1,000 km/h.

The tallest wooden skyscraper in the world is being built in the US
Michael Green Architecture (MGA) from Canada has designed the world's tallest skyscraper built from engineered wood. MGA specializes in designing buildings with minimal use of concrete and metal in construction.
The new project is quite ambitious - the tallest wooden skyscraper. The bureau plans to build a 55-story building in Milwaukee, USA, where, by the way, there is an existing record holder
