Agrovision, an agtech startup, has secured a $100 million investment funding
Berry producer Agrovision has raised $100 million and the company's valuation has exceeded $1 billion. In the last three years, the company has almost tripled its sales. Founded in 2012, the company initially focused on the cultivation and sale of blueberries from Peru. Now, it supplies blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and cherries to stores worldwide.
Headquartered in Los Angeles, Berry Agrovision also grows berries in Mexico, Chile, India, Morocco, the United States, and China. The company invests in genetics to improve the taste and resistance of berries to warm climates. It also invests in artificial intelligence and other technologies.
Berry Agrovision plans to expand into Egypt, Indonesia, and China in the future.
