An innovative residential project called Lighthouse has been realized in New Zealand. This round glass house is able to continuously rotate 360 degrees. The structure was designed by the current owner Don Dunick in the 90s. Its construction took several years to complete. The project required many technical challenges, including running plumbing and electricity in the house. The Lighthouse is raised on a platform and can rotate at the flick of a switch. It makes one revolution in 33 minutes on standard settings and 15 minutes on high speed. According to the homeowner, no discomfort is felt while spinning. The interior of the house includes 2 floors with a spiral staircase in the center and glazed walls. The first floor has an open floor plan with kitchen, dining area, cozy living room and bath. The second floor has the master bedroom and 2 additional bedrooms. Each has a balcony. Lighthouse is currently listed for sale at over $600,000
