This is the Prelude FLNG floating LNG plant owned by the British company Shell. It is 488 metres long and has a displacement of 600,000 tonnes.
The Titan, worth $12.6 billion, was built at the Samsung Heavy shipyard in South Korea and commissioned in 2018. It is currently extracting and immediately liquefying gas above a field off the coast of Western Australia, where it will remain anchored until reserves are depleted, which is expected to happen around 2043.
After that, the ship can be towed to another location and continue operating. Incidentally, the crew consists of 240 people, and the extracted gas is transported to various countries in special tankers
