Texas-based Thermasol has announced Solaris, the first solar-powered, off-grid sauna in the United States. It heats up to 76 degrees in just 30-40 minutes.

The unit is designed to be plug-and-play, making it easy to install and operate even in remote locations without access to electricity. Solaris is ideal for country homes, resorts and other facilities looking to reduce their environmental footprint.

Unlike traditional saunas that use electricity or wood to heat, Solaris offers a more environmentally friendly approach using integrated solar and high efficiency insulated heat panels. This allows the unit to operate completely off-grid, providing clean and renewable heat with no harmful emissions.

The sauna is equipped with tinted glass windows that let in natural light and maintain user privacy. The interior space is decorated in a classic Finnish style using natural materials and ambient lighting. Solaris also offers the opportunity to enjoy the traditional Finnish Löyly - the ritual of pouring water on hot stones to create steam
