The iKoffy GoBrew is a 296ml smart thermal mug that allows users to enjoy freshly brewed coffee anywhere.
Its base houses waterproof electronics including a circuit board, pressure sensor, LED display and a 400 mAh rechargeable lithium battery that lasts for a month of use. The mug communicates with an iOS and Android app via Bluetooth.
The app helps users accurately track coffee to water ratio, brew time and other parameters. The GoBrew mug is made of stainless steel with double walls and can keep coffee hot for up to 5 hours. It also features a translucent polycarbonate lid with a silicone gasket for an airtight seal. The developers claim that the tapered inner profile of the mug helps to evenly distribute the coffee and improve its flavor.
The device costs $87 on Kickstarter, while the folding funnel costs $19
